Years ago I picked up a German excerpt book. I wish I’d kept it. The copy was excellent.

Anyhow, what was the setup you were using at the time if you recall? Thanks for sharing!

Analog cassette? Well.... after getting new belts for my 1975 vintage Sony dual cassette deck, buying a $25 adapter to connect the tape deck to my desktop iMac, finally finding instructions online for the program "Garage Band" that made sense, and then spending several frustrating hours playing around, I figured out how to transfer old cassette tapes to my iMac and turn them into mp3s and put them in iTunes. Whew! The tapes are of my band concerts from Junior High(1970) until my Senior year(1976). My mom would record them with a small cassette recorder. I'm surprised at how good the sound quality is! I only have three concerts done so far, so I still have a lot to do. With the help of my wife we have taken it a step further and have started uploading the concerts to Youtube with a simple placard listing the songs and times. Check out "Stillwater MN High School Band" on Youtube if you need to kill some time during confinement. My older brother has also started uploading his concerts from Stillwater High School to Youtube.

Was it worth the hassle to figure out how to do it? Yes! It's so fun to hear the music again and share it with other people. Especially the concert with Bill Watrous as our guest soloist!

Bloke, thanks for sharing the recordings. It was fun to hear!

Sounds great, Joe.

If I were to venture a guess based on the recorded sound, it would be a 2165.
