Help Identifying Random bits

Post by oscarcahue »

I was hoping someone could help me identify these random bits I have. Based on the Allied diagram posted previously, It seems like they're either Jupiter or Yamaha bits. Not sure what the pairs are. My biggest puzzle is the last ones that are such sharp angles? Are they damaged?

Sorry not familiar with these brands, Thanks.

This may help --> https://www.1800usaband.com/products/browse/56/246/

In your pic, the 1rst and 3rd ones look Jupiter; not sure about the others. They look Yamaha, but I'm not convinced because the Yamaha bit I bought (as well as playing on several Yamaha 411 sousas over the years) are slightly different. The Yamaha bits have slightly less 'tube' between the soldered on sleeves, and the sleeves/ferrules are not bevelled like the ones you have. I think the far right bit in the pic may be bent (slightly damaged), but don't quote me. So, I'm not sure... :lol: ..but I don't think they are Yamaha.
