Hard cases for recording tuba

Hi all, was hoping to find information. I have a removable bell on my tuba and am looking for a couple hard cases for the horn and bell. Does anyone know a company that makes these? My problem is that although the case my tuba came with is good, it is also very long and wont fit in the back of my SUV. I either have to fit it in the back seat or lay down a seat to put it in the back. If I could find something like a couple flight cases or something similar that would be great. Thanks

Thanks York. It's the Schiller version of the Wessex XL. It comes with a separate gig bag for the recording bell, which is nice, and then a regular soft shell case for the horn and straight bell. I am hoping to find case solid enough for the body and another case for the upward bell, so I can store the bell above it while in my SUV just to cut down on room. That is the reason I was thinking something fairly solid like a flight case. The body of the horn is roughly 30" tall and 24" wide with the straight bell is 14" tall and 20" bell. It would be a lot more convenient for me to be able to transport separately.

They have wooden ones, plus a sheet to put in the dimensions to make sure your horn will fit. There’s also a used pair of king cases that they have for cheaper but you’d have to check with them on if your horn will fit.

Thank you for the link, pakins. I figured if I did find something like this, it would be expensive. I do prefer the hard cases though and am going to look into them with the gig bags. Appreciate it

Thanks York, The dimensions are 32" from the bottom bow to the tenon, 20" wide and 14" deep. I lay my case down for two minutes to get a tape measure in my shop, and the dang cat is already asleep on it..
P.S. Wessex no longer sells those bags.

Thanks Hrender, could a guy possibly add wheels and an extendable handle?

Thanks for the link hrender. I have the original case it came with, but stores the upright bell with the horn in the case. I was just hoping someone had some info off the top of their head with some thoughts about safely transporting horn and bell separately and all these ideas are great. If need be, I could build something, but wanted to see what was out there. I can't seem to find much in the computer world.

Thanks for checking, York. Unfortunately Wessex isn't offering those bags anymore. They sent me a link for custom bags from Altieri and Marcus Bonna. I will keep checking around. Appreciate the info!
