Euphonium Excerpt Book

Post by BopEuph »

There was a period of printing with the second edition excerpts book that pages were missing. I thought I bought my book after that period (still about a year ago or so), but I was reading cover to cover today on a whim, and I just realized there are about 20 pages or so missing. Is Cimarron covering this, or need I buy another $40 book for this folly? I bought it at a music store, so should I take it up with them?

Dear Nick,

Email me off the list and I will take care of it for you: bvdpress@snet.net

As many of you know, the previous owner of Cimarron Music passed away in March of 2004. Along with a partner, I took over the company in December of 2004. We have found that many of the publications had printing and/or note errors in them. We are working hard to correct any and all errors from previous publications. To date, we have have re-engraved over 150 titles from the catalog. Many can be seen on the website in the form of .pdf files.

The excerpt book was one of those publications that had many errors. I re-engraved the entire book in January of 2005. This included the look of the book, note errors and updating the information provided by Dr. Bowman, David Werden and Barbara Payne.

To the people of TubeNet,

This guy really worked with a lot of speed, and was very quick and polite. My new book is already on the way; I suggest that people use their services, as the are probably the easiest press company to work with.

Thanks again, Bryan.
