October Tuba Fun Fest - Door County, WI

Greetings Fellow TubeNetters,

There will be an October Tuba Fun Fest on Saturday October 1 in picturesque Door County, Wisconsin. The music will be from Norm Bewley's Octubafest (® Harvey Phillips Foundation, Inc.) book, which can be purchased here...

This is open to all tuba, euphonium and baritone players who wish to participate. There is NO registration fee. All that is required is your lips, your instrument, and your enthusiasm. Oh, you should bring your own music (purchased above) and stand or be willing to share a music and/or stand with someone else (but don't rely on this, have your own music). This is a very informal gathering. There will be a rehearsal in the afternoon of the first for those who can be there. Beer will be served for those who are of age.

Note: Due to lack of planning and short notice this is NOT an official Octubafest(® Harvey Phillips Foundation, Inc.) but rather a dry run to determine interest. If all goes well, it will become a yearly event with all the official requirements and designations.
