Historic Tuba Quartett

Hello together,
i spend a lot of time to create this videos with some of my historical instruments!
I would love if you have time to listen to it.
My idea is to ceep this special sound for all of our small tuba world! Enjoy :tuba:

Daniel, very nice playing, and beautiful crisp sound.I really enjoy it! You are good at recording tuba, may I ask what equipment you use? Mic, preamps, soundcards, etc. Thanks for the videos!

I use a Tascam Multitrack recorder and a Røde
NT2A Microphone. In my opinion the best one.
And everyone can afford it!

Daniel Ridder is the best tuba quartet performing today.

Without joking, listen to how musical he is. I am encouraged when I hear him play these performances.

Great to hear the sound of these old instruments preserved in such a beautiful and creative way!

In addition your recordings prove that great musicality depends on the player and can be achieved with a wide variety of instruments as long they are in a proper shape. I bet most of the featured instruments would not be the first choice for the majority of today's tuba players...

Thank you all! The tune of the A&O Quartett is 432Hz... my ear need some time to check it :shock:
marccromme: I use a Røde NT2A Microphone and a Tascam Multitrack recorder. One of the software is Audacity.
Currently i work on an Verdi Nabucco Suite for my two Cimbassi. BBb and F... let's see and hear :tuba: :tuba: :tuba:
