St Michael the Archangel, from Respighi's Church Windows, is undoubtedly the loudest classical piece I've ever heard. I have a recording of the Cinncinnati Symphony Orchestra playing it, and the entire brass section is just deafening, bordering on overdoing it. I'm not sure who the tuba player is, but I have never heard the character of Satan so well represented in music than by their low brass section. Does anyone know where I could obtain the tuba part for this piece, and does anyone else think its 'as goddang loud' as I do?

The tubist is Michael Thornton, the bass trombonist is Peter Norton.
