Don't have any pics, but two F tubas he has used, according to liner notes, are a B&S Perantucci model and Meinl Weston 182.
I erroneously recalled the use of a HB, but after looking at the notes more carefully I found my mistake. Sorry if it was misleading.

According to the "Tuba Tracks" liner notes, he used the following horns:
Perantucci F tuba - (no model number specified)
Hirsbrunner CC tuba - HB-2
Hirsbrunner CC tuba - Yorkbrunner

You know, he also said that he thought his 6/4 HB was a stuffy POS (But, then again, I remember somebody telling me that Norm said the same thing about AJ's York *LOL*.) But, as I like to say, you get to that level, you can make a garden hose sound good. It's just about what you like when you get to be as good as him.

This is correct. When I first met him in the early 80's he expressed displeasure with it, and still does to this day.
