Tuba pad
I'm looking for something I can stick on the bottom bow of the tuba that will help keep the tuba on my lap. I've tried those rubber air conditioner mats and a tuba rest and I'm sort of looking for something in between I guess. Any suggestions?

Re: Tuba pad
I have been using open foam yoga blocks cut to size. Not the dense bricks, but the flatter blue foam squares. You can cut them with a good knife so you can get the exact width and height. I put it between my legs on my chair. They are very lite and easy to carry. You can also glue two thicknesses together if you need it thicker than how they come.

I use this:

It is quite effective for me.
