What tuning apps do you use?

It seems that all of the free apps for the cell phone are aimed at stringed instruments. I see some others that cost but may be better for wind and brass instruments. Which do you prefer?

PS For you saxophone players, I just picked up a 1923 Beuscher tenor with a satin gold finish. It is almost perfect, and sounds and plays great.

Tonal Energy is head and shoulders above everything else. Spend the three or four bucks it costs and never look back.

Already mentioned and recommended by most, but Tonal Energy is great, lots of features for the price (tuner with several features, analysis mode for tuning, drones, metronome, and recording all fit into one app). Available both for Apple and Android.

I personally also love InsTuner. Its got a free version that works damn well, but it offered me the full version just for tweeting about the app. Dunno if they still have that offer. Not as fleshed out as TE Tuner, but it works great for when I just want a quick check with less "clutter" on the screen. That app has a tuner, several options for how to view your tuning, including a strobe tuner and anaylsis mode, and drones. I have mine set to "bass" mode, picks up on almost the full range just as well as Tonal Energy does; it even tends picks me up better when I'm in a room warming up with others several others playing around me too. I think this one might be only for Apple devices, though.

I tend to use TE for individual work when practicing, and InsTuner on the fly. I've found most other tuning apps aside from these two to feel kind of clunky and slow, but maybe that's just me.
