TubaRanch Eggnog Recipe

Post by happyroman »

I was hoping to make Harvey Phillips' famous TubaRanch Eggnog for New Years, but have misplaced my only copy of the recipe. If anyone has it, please post a copy.

Calling all former IU tubists. Ted Cox? Jeff Anderson?

TIA

Ingredients

12 eggs
3 pints heavy cream
1 pint milk
¾ pound sugar
1 quart Wild Turkey
1 pint Myers' Jamaica Dark Rum
1 pint Courvoisier V.S.O.P.

I found the ingredients, at least. My recollection is that he didn't cook the eggs, but somehow used the alcohol to "cook" the yolks and whipped the egg whites to be folded in later. But the actual recipe was very specific with the preparations.

I will keep looking and post anything I find.

I assumed it had Stroh's as an ingredient...

Brings back many memories...
