RIP Howard Johnson

Just saw on a few reports that Howard Johnson died. While he's left us, he did leave behind an incredible musical legacy. As junior high student in the 19, I remember reading about him in Down Beat magazine. He opened my horizons as to what a tuba could do and sound like. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family
