It is with profound sadness that it has been confirmed that Toby Hanks has passed away. R.I.P. dear teacher, mentor and friend.

Toby requested that memorials be sent as donations to the Chautauqua Instrumental Music Fund.
After all these years I still remember the day he introduced me to the F tuba.
