Gold wash on Silver Sousa bell
I wanted to ask anyone here if you've had a gold wash applied on a silver Sousa bell, and if so, how much would it cost?

Re: Gold wash on Silver Sousa bell
Gold and other precious metals have gone up in value over the past months, even during this pandemic.
If you really want to go ahead with this idea expect to pay many hundreds $$$ at a minimum for the prep work and to have Anderson Plating or some other plating service to put a gold 'wash' or strike coat on your bell.
Personally, I'd skip that option and save hundreds by having a good brass tech (or doing it carefully myself) apply Yamaha special gold lacquer to the bell. Both options are purely cosmetic anyway
