Question about Old Holton Mouthpiece.

Post by panderdoti »

I was browsing ebay and I ran across one a posting for a Holton Galaxy Tuba mouthpiece. I remember seeing one of these in the mouthpiece bin when I was in school. Anyone know what more common mouthpiece this might be similar to? Externally it reminds me of something like a cross between a Bach And Tucci style mouthpiece but I can't tell what its like internally.

I have an old Galaxy. I would describe it as a fairly deep funnel with a wide ID, and not a huge throat. I never use this mouthpiece, and have listed it here on TubeNet for trade, if that is of interest to you.
