Holton 345 CC Tuba - Soundcheck

Post by kontrabasstuba »

Hi,
Here is a sound sample of my C tuba from Holton. The model 345 is popular and known for its great sonority. It is a ''Bob Rusk cut''.
That means the tuba was in BBb and has been cut to CC.
According to the serial number, it is from 1966.
I played from: Marco Bordogni -
Bel Canto Studies the No. 2.

You make it sound great! Very warm sounding, and it seems like the tuba is very flexible in tone color. Thanks for sharing!
"Shouldn't we all be practicing right now?"
