It's not till late April 2022 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. It's way too early for bands to sign up, so there's no information about performance times since nobody knows yet who's going to be there. Typically contest pieces are announced in the fall, so this year's May announcement was unusual. The 2019 contest was the biggest ever, and since NABBA was forced to cancel 2020 and 2021, 2022 is likely to be a HUGE contest.
In the past, contests usually had a day for Solo and Ensemble, then a day for the bands, but as it got larger and larger, the contest began to spread across 2 or 3 days. When there are a lot of bands and a big enough facility, there usually are two auditoriums in use, which speeds things up quite a bit, but which can lead to 2 bands you want to hear performing at the same time.
NABBA is regrouping and trying to fix some past issues, so many, many details have not been finalized. The contest rules, sign-up forms, and a ton of other info will probably be made available in the fall, so keep an eye on the web site,
http://nabba.org.
Please don't accidentally go to nabba.com, that's the North American Body Building Association (unless body building is your thing, of course).
