Pelican Music is publishing my Doodles for Two Tubas, originally published for (french) horn several years ago, and arranged for tubas by Dr. Willis Traphagan, retired tuba professor.
The horn duets have been out of print since the original publisher retired, and several people, including a German publisher, inquired of Pelican if they were publishing my duets since Pelican had taken over some of the other music. Pelican tracked me down last week and asked to publish the horn duets; I told them they were also available for tuba, and the German publisher customer immediately wanted those too. So Pelican is also publishing the tuba version.
If you are interested in some new duets, they will be available next week from here:

As to what they are like, they are modal / tonal, contrapuntal, and guaranteed to be nothing like any duets you have played before. They are not ultra-modern or dissonant. Many of them are on the light side and fun; a couple of them are suitable for church gigs. This is a collection of nine one-to-two-page duets, printed double-staff so each can see the other's part as you play.

tuba duets
It depends on how good the horn player is, probably, if you want to read right off the tuba duet parts; the horn player would have to be able to read C bass clef (which is not usual among other than pros.) Or the tuba player would need to be able to read from a horn part. (I do this clef-jumping all the time but realize most don't.)
I think the majority of the duets have been tuba-transposed to be in the same keys, though (can't remember exatly which one(s) might not have.)
There are nine duets; there aren't any sound bites on the site yet. The publisher just jumped on it because they were getting inquiries from a German publisher who wanted them "yesterday."
If you bought both the horn version and the tuba version, I expect most of them would be playable on horn and tuba. You could even swich parts although some of the sonorities would be upside down.
The web site (which I'm going to go find and visit and then come back and edit this) ought to have prices. Pelican music.
Thanks for the interest!

edit: the url for them, including the titles and description, is

I see they are selling for $10. (I didn't set the price; the publisher does that.)
