Hello All,
This may or may not be a niggling thing for some, but to me it matters. Can anybody detail with certainty where Gard bags for tubas are made? Where Mr. Tuba bags are made? Where Miraphone bags are made? Reunion Blues are Chinese. Cronkhite bags are back to being made in the US. Bassbags are made in the UK. How about protec? Most of the aforementioned do not provide information about country of manufacture. That is problematic for me. Gard bags emblem has a 'roo on the front implying Australian made, but it's not mentioned on their site. Same with most others. All information is appreciated. Thanks. Foggy

Miraphone bags are made in Slovakia.

I am pretty sure I have seen a Made in China tag in one of my old ProTec bags.

Protec is made in China (i think), and they only have Cordula ones (they don’t offer leather option). They also only offers cases at specific sizes (two or three varistions?), whereas Miraphone provides more size options compared to Protec (I don’t know where they are made...apparently Slovakia!?, thank you arpthark).

Messina Covers is made in the US, but they only make Cordula ones, I think.

Cronkhite are really nice, and they offers both cordula and leather options. It takes several months for them to make one, but if you don't mind waiting they are really nice. They also offers coupons, if you look at the top of their website.

I have Protec case for my vintage 60 yrs old Bb tuba, and Cronkhite leather case for my F tuba. Protec one works, but does not fit like gloves. Cronkhite one is great, and i hope to use it for next 10 or more years ahead (it took four months or so, but worth the wait).
