Sousaphone advice King

Looking for some help on Sousaphone buying;
Does some have experience with a King 2350 vs a (H.N. White) King 1250?
Apparently, the 1250 is the old model and the 2350 the newer one, but maybe someone can tell me if there are differences in playing.
Currently I have a Conn 20k Ladyface from 1952, but I'm looking for an instrument which is a bit 'lighter' to play.
