I had to give a customer that unfortunate news that their valve section is shot.. The good news is that they paid next to nothing for the instrument and they are considering a valve transplant. The tuba is a 3 valve top action Frank Holton monster Eb. If someone has a Holton Eb or BBb valve section (they're the same bore) valve section, that would be best. The bore is somewhere around the .665-.667 range so I'd like to find something close to that. Assuming one of those doesn't pop up, here's what I'm looking for:
4 valves in-line or 3+1 would be great. 3 valves is fine.
Silver is preferred, but raw brass is fine.
If the bore of your valve section is far from the bore of the existing FUBAR one, I'll need a leadpipe and MTS as well.
