Seeking 5/4+ C Horn
Hey y’all, I’m going to be a freshman in music school next fall. I’m super excited to be studying tuba full time next year, and I just am going to need a horn. I’ve been on a Miraphone 186 in B flat borrowed from my high school and I’m looking to buy my own. Ideally (per my professors/current teachers recommendation) I would purchase a CC horn somewhere around 5+/4 size. Looking for horns like PT6, 6P, 7, or MW Thor or Tuono or if I by some miracle can find a MRP CC. Really anything similar to any of those horns would be great, not picky on rotors vs pistons. Best case scenario I’d be spending under 12K USD, but I’m somewhat flexible. Would appreciate any leads on anyone selling a horn like the ones listed or even just advice in general. Thanks so much!
