Hello friends,
I am looking for an older Besson or Boosey 4 valve compensating Euphonium, ideally something from the 50's through 70's. It doesn't have to be in perfect shape, but I'd like one that plays well, as there is a lot of inconsistency among those horns. I'd prefer one that isn't severely banged up, though I'm totally fine with scratches and tarnish, etc. As long as the valves are in good shape and the lead pipe isn't dented up, and there aren't major creases in the bell I can probably work with it.
If you or someone you know is sitting on one of these, and there's a possibility of parting with it, I'd love to be put in touch or start a conversation. It will be going to a good home
Thanks so much!
Ryan
