Hey tubenet long time no post, I dont play anymore but I'm starting to get interested in picking it up again.
Back in 2013 a horn I owned was stolen from my locker in the middle of the night and as much as I'd love to have that specific horn back i don't think after 13 years I'm ever going to see it again, I'd like to get another one but I don't even know what it was. It was a 186ish sized CC tuba with 4 right hand valves and 1 left hand valve and an extra slide soldered onto the front of the horn that would make the 5th valve a minor 3rd step. It had a removable bell with a garland that was 16.5 inches I think, and no other markings. This is the only picture of it I have left. Any help in identifying this would be much appreciated thanks! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-hM40C ... p=drivesdk

Meinl Weston model 33 (same as the model 32 but with removable bell).

I’ve never seen one with a garland, so it’s possible the bell was aftermarket.

Thank you! Did an image search and sure enough it does seem like it's a 32/33. And yeah maybe that's why the bell didn't have any markings other than a few numbers etched into the side that didn't seem to mean anything.
