So I'm looking for a conn/king 3rd valve for my sousaphone, I don't even know what model it is. The only thing I can tell you is, it's fiberglass and it must be a conn because on the bell it is a label that says Conn USA... I've never heard of it in my life, and this is my first time seeing that. Additionally, this is my first conn instrument, so that's why I can't tell much about it. However, on the 1st Valve at the bottom it says Jd1238, that's what made me even more confused, because I thought Jd was for Jupiter...however, I'm not a sousaphone genius so please correct me if I'm wrong about that.
As a result, I tried conn/king valves for my sousaphone, and it turns out they worked perfectly. So now like I said in the beginning of my post, I'm looking for a 3rd valve for my sousaphone. While I'm seeking the valve, I'm also seeking more information about my sousaphone so if anyone has any information or any thoughts please tell me.
Sorry if my writing was incorrect, I don't mean to annoy/aggravate/offend anyone.

Re: Conn USA???? fiberglass sousaphone
OK. It's not that simple. Conn made three different fiberglass sousaphones. The largest was the 22K, the fiberglass version of the 20K, with the same short-throw valves. The most common, made "pre-Cyborg," was the 36K, which was the fiberglass version of the 14K. After the Cyborg assimilated everything, the 22K and the old version of the 36K were discontinued. That leaves the more recent version of the 36K, also recently discontinued, that was, as you set forth, may be a re-branded version of a King fiberglass sousaphone. Please post a picture so we may know which it is. The loops of the valve tubing are distinctly different, and we will be able to tell which horn you actually have. Then we can recommend help.
