WTB-Sousaphone

Post by ArnoldGottlieb »

Hi,
I'm looking for a sousaphone. A lightweight money making machine in BBb is what I'm after. A fiberglass horn would be okay, a 14k might do the trick too. I'm definitely looking for a player, looks have no bearing on this instrument for me, I just ran into some upcoming sousaphone gigs. And, as an edit; I'll ad that I'm local to Charleston SC and I make trips to Nashville TN and New York City enough that I would pick up a horn in person on one of those routes.
Thanks.

Musicalmusicalinstrumentcity.com

Give that place a call. He's got a bunch of sousaphones. All different prices. Many more than what's listed on his site.

I have a 20/21J and a 36K posted in the For sale section. The 36K plays well.

If you are still looking for a sousaphone. I have a Conn 46K I bought off the tuba exchange in 2009 I am trying to trade or sell. If you are interested in a trade I am looking for a CC tuba.

I have a 14K 'stencil'. It's indeed a Conn but has a different name on the bell. Good horn. Just not beautiful. Send me an email for some images and then make me an offer.

Some really good looking 22K's right here. These are the best fiberglass sousas out there. Sound almost like exactly like a Conn 20K. Easy blowing and huge sound. Short action valves too! One is even completely overhauled. Can't go wrong with these.
