WTB: Small parts for CBB 861

Post by edsel585960 »

Hi fellow Tubeneters, I'm looking for some small parts for Cerveny CBB 861 I'm trying to resurrect. Forgive me if I don't know the proper terms, I've been trying to find a parts list online with little success. I have pics of what I need on Photobucket. 1st I need one of the small ball shaped parts that fits on top of the valve that the linkage fits into. I also need 3 more screws that fit into the linkage and the round retainers nuts that go on the screws. I would like to get a few extra of the ball shaped part to keep handy as well as some extra screws. Lastly, I need to put some new cork stops on the valves. Are these a special item or can they be made out of old cork scraps? http://s1029.photobucket.com/user/edsel ... t=3&page=1" target="_blank" Thanks for any help. Dan

That is called the "uniball" linkage and you need the balls that screw into the stop arms. My Sonora, a stencilled B&S 101, has that type of linkage so you might try someone who handles B&S parts.

You can make those bumpers out of cork or neoprene.

If you know the thread size and pitch of the screws you can search for replacements.

TubaTinker and bloke would be the first two TubeNetters I'd ask.
