WTB: Gig Bag for Wisemann900/PT6P

Post by thetubawizard »

I'm looking for either a Cronkhite (preferred) or Alteri gig bag for my Wisemann 900.

I have put my PT6P next two the two Wisemann's that colleagues in my studio have and they do not have the exact same measurements. The Wisemanns are noticeably shorter and wider than my horn. Just mentioning because the Cronkhite and Altieri bags are made to be a pretty snug fit and might not fit both models.

Check out the wessex gig bag #410. I was thrown off at first by the way you load the horn (setting in on its bell with the valves facing away from you), but I actually like mine a lot now. Being tall, it's nice to not have to bend so low with the horn. Nice thick foam, zippers are strong, and comfortable to wear. 145 bucks new last I checked. Plus you can ship it back if you don't like it... save yourself some dough.

I concur with toakstertuba's thoughts on the Wessex bag as I use that for my PT6. Great bag, not just for the money.

Just saw this thread. I've got a PT-6P Cronkhite cordura bag which fits my W900 just right.

Hi,
I have bought the Precieux RB 26159 (for B&S PT6 and PT6P) from Thomann.
It fits my Wisemann 900 perfectly and I am very satisfied with it.
Price in Europe at the moment Euro 169 (originally Euro 319; probably only a few left, because manufacturer had to stop production for financial reasons, as I have understood).
