WTB: Bass Trombone

Post by tmz1m »

Missed out on the Wessex Black Friday sale last year (Wessex bass bones for $625), but I'd still like to find one to learn a bit on. Not necessarily Wessex/Chinese, definitely interested in other models. Like to stay under $1000, send me what you've got. Thanks!

You might want to check out the Jinbao JBSL-831S Bass trombone sold by Mach Brass or Wessex (or others), which is a good Yamaha bass bone clone. I got mine from Wessex. My experiences are found summarized here:

If you are still looking, I currently have an older Yamaha Bass trombone for sale for $800. It has done well for me the past few years but Bass Guitar gigs are starting to take over and I don't have enough time to practice all three with the tubas. More than happy to talk and share pictures if you are interested.
