Must have real American shank - not the tweener size like on PT and Miraphone.
It's for a .687" kinda sissy-bore instrument but I think I can use the extra resistance to go for a larger mouthpiece than I normally like, which should more than compensate and as a bonus give easier low notes. The articulation amplification of a Conn Helleberg sharp rim isn't required either.
The biggest rim I like is a Bach 12, which is 32.75 mm but maybe equivalent to 33 mm in other brands due to measurement and oversizing tendencies. The more funneled the throat entry the better, and an increase in cup volume over a Conn would be good.
Laskey 30H is interesting, and PT with the S shank - 36/42/44 (would appreciate a decoding here, these three have interchangable descriptions!) maybe the 50.
wantee: large Helleberg style
