WTB: King sousaphone 1st piston/top cap
Got an old pre-1985 King sousaphone and it's missing a first piston (how this happens, idk). Anyways, I'm looking for one. It's the kind with the metal valve guide on the side of the piston. If you have a used top cap, I'll take it off your hands as well.

Re: WTB: King sousaphone 1st piston
+1. However... before you plunk down the cash with your local dealer to order a piston, make certain the other pistons will fit into the casing. Strange things happen. If the casing is damaged you might be in for a trip to a rebuilder like Anderson Silver Plating.ValveSlide wrote:Those are available from Allied Supply. FWIW
