Huge dark sound, this is the kind of horn that can support an ensemble of any size. The slots are very easy to maneuver despite the size of the horn but I will say the notes above the staff aren't bad but they definitely pale a bit compared to the mid and absolutely gorgeous low register. The low in particular sounds like a huge sub woofer. Scale is very even as well which surprised me for a horn of this size.
