I'm curious about the range of the magnetic field of those magnets. I have some instruments that could use some minor dent removal (and my main axe might need some dent removal in the future for all I know), but I do not work in a repair shop of any kind. Just don't want to accidentally ruin any electronics in the same room as it, is what I'm trying to say.

I'm with Kiltie, you're more likely to put a crease in the horn than ruin any electronics. You have to be careful on the size of ball you use in comparison to the horn tubing size. Also an old drum head between the horn and magnet is a must with some oil on horn for lubrication to prevent scratching. I've had really good results with these balls and magnets but you have to be careful. Start on a practice horn if you can.
