Where to browse shop for tubas?

Looking to find a store in the U.S.A. that has an inventory of tubas to do some browsing. I live in Ms and have a trip planned thru Tn soon, so a slight detour along the way would be ideal. However, we are interested enough to plan a dedicated road trip to the right store.
My sons in High School, and im a former tuba player myself and know that we are looking for a 4 valve Bb horn. Aside from that, im out of the loop.
Thanks

Dillon Music in New Jersey
Baltimore Brass Company in Maryland
Horn Guys in California
Probably the three largest stores to try a variety in person and Have knowledgeable staff.

What thevillagetuba said, also- if you'll be in the Memphis area, stop by Mid-South Music and see what Bloke has.

Are NAMM and state music teacher conventions open to individuals just for this purpose??

Yeah, there's an open-to-the-public day at NAMM. It gets pretty darned loud in that convention centre. Wow.

Another great idea would be to attend either a regional or international tuba conference. The US Army Band Tuba Euphonium Workshop is a great one, and there will be a Southeast Regional in Alabama this spring. I'd write more details, but my calendar isn't in front of me right now.

You should look at the Southeast Tuba Euphonium Conference. Link with info below.
