Searching for just an upright bell so I can interchange them when needed. Especially for concert bands..Really love my Conn but don't want to take it to rehearsal and get nasty looks from the conductor. Preferably the 24 inch factory bell.

I have a Kanstul 2XJ Bell in excellent condition. $850 plus shipping. I paid $1100 from the factory and I had to wait 4 months.

Those are 20 or 21 inches?

20 inches. I have a 20J and a 25J with the original Conn Bells. The Kanstul bell works very well.

Do you prefer the kanstul upright over the 24" Conn upright? I've heard it's more focused

Overall, yes, I prefer the Kanstul bell. It's definitely more focused while still maintaining the "BAT" sound

I wish you luck on your quest. I waited 4 years before I found one and then had to buy a whole horn. The original bells are hard to find in any condition.

Looks like I may have found one! Yes you are right. But I'd rather have an original than a smaller diameter replacement.
