A lot of these mutes are horn, or horn size, specific. What are you liking to use it for?

I need something to shove into my horn so I can play while my baby naps. It doesn't need to be a perfect fit. I have a Meinl Weston 2250 and Eastman CC, and I don't want to buy separate mutes for each.

You should try the NEW Yamaha Silent Brass System, It is adjustable to any bell. It is little expensive but you will have 1 mute for any tuba.

I know it sounds silly, but you can make a better than average tuba mute out of Fiberboard and black duct tape. I once forgot my mute for an orchestra gig and a colleague had one of these. It's not a Balu, but if you only need it to practice, you can't beat the price. Plans are linked below.
