WTB 3/4 4V BBb for reasonable price

Post by yoda »

Hi Everybody,

I'm a new member to this forum - a retired band director who is looking to buy a 3/4 size, 4 valve, BBb tuba. I'm a trombone playing who is wanting to learn how to play tuba at a much higher level. Prefer Lidl 701, Olds 099, Conn 4J, Mercedes 869, Miraphone 184, or Jupiter 482/780, but I would consider others.

If you have (or know of someone who has) one of the above that is for sale, please get in touch. Thank you.

The horn I'm selling on the forums is a 4/4 Jupiter 582 with silver plating. Despite its 4/4 size, it is definitely on the small side of that range.

It plays well and seems like it would suit your needs.

Thanks to everyone who has contacted me with an instrument for sale. I've purchased an instrument from a fellow TubeNet member. I'm looking forward to many great moments with my new horn.
