Need 4/4 4 valve Bbb Tuba

Post by poordad »

Hi all, I am looking for an good used instrument for my son 13, but man sized. His band director says he needs an upgrade in instrument. Unfortunately his school, " a small christian academy" is not able to supply an instrument for him and it seems nobody is renting real tubas. We are located in Central Florida. So if you have one that fits the bill let me know. If you have any recommendations on a good intermediate 4/4 4 valve Bbb Tubas on the market I would also appreciate the input. The best option I have seen so far is that WWBW does offer a 36 month 0% financing. Thanks for any help

Can't go wrong with this King. For $2500 that is a great deal on a 4/4 4 valve horn!

And it's a beauty! Good lookin' and a great player (I haven't played this one, but I do play a King and I love it).

You really can't go wrong with a King. Especially in that shape at that price.Ed

Not sure what your budget is, but Dan Schultz has a Zeiss BBb for $1850. PLENTY of tuba for a 13-year old.

I keep eyeing that King 2341 from ufonium2 as well, thinking it would be a fine 4/4 stablemate to my Holton BAT. I see that he's in Chicago and you're in FL, but man - it'd be worth the drive. Very sharp horn, any tuba player would be proud to own it. Thumbs up!

I think all of you should buy my King :D Normally I would ship it but it doesn't have a hard case and I had so much work done on it I can't stand the thought of it getting banged up in shipping.
