Hi! I'm located in New Jersey and am majoring in tuba performance next year. I'm looking to buy a used horn if possible, my price range is around $7,000. As far as brands go, I love Miraphones, especially the Bruckner, it's my dream horn but a little out of my price range. I've tried some Meinl-Westons, they're nice but somehow uncomfortable for me. I like rotary valves, I prefer not to play on pistons. I'm looking for a horn with easy response that has a full sound without being too mellow, and bigger size would be nice.
