Post by jmviehmann »

I got an old Eb tuba that has a British shank and was wondering if you guys had any good British shank mouthpieces I could buy.

Sorry if I'm way off base here, but to clarify:

"Old Eb" and "European shank" don't go together in my experience. Do you mean the smaller "British" shank size (smaller than the modern American standard), or modern European (larger than the modern American standard)?

A Wick 3 is usually a good match for British-shank Eb tubas.
