Title says it all. Ready to move to CC after some thought, and have found a buyer for my BBb in the near future. Budget is about $5000, may be able to move it up to $5500 or maybe 6 if I find the right tuba.
Pistons preferred but rotors not out of the question.

Overall it's probably the most similar to the B&S PT-20P. In general I have found that the B&S CC tubas play a bit on the sharp side and need to have the main tuning slide pulled out fairly far. For me the Yamaha was much more comfortable at the usual American tuning of A=440.

Last time I checked with Noah it was still available.

How are the ergonomics of the Yamaha? I've heard mixed reviews.
I'll certainly consider both of these tubas, as soon as the BBb sells. Thanks for the replies!

I found the right hand position on the Yamaha to be very comfortable - with the valveset a little higher on the body than some other piston tubas, the angled piston alignment is very natural and the thumb paddle geometry is quite good (overall more comfortable than my PCK). All valve slides are easily accessible with the left hand although I did very little slide pulling.
