WTB: 3+1 compensating Eb tuba

Postby eupho » Mon Mar 25, 2019 8:41 pm

Of course I would love to be able to buy a Yamaha 632, a Miraphone Eb , a Besson or even a Packer but those aren't in the "retired guy" budget. I would be content with any of the JinBao stencil horns.

Never seen a 4+1 compensating Eb in my life

For a 3+1, I love the packer 377. Amazing horn

As stated many times, I personally own a late 1950's Besson 3+1 comp. Eb with a rare detachable recording bell.

I sell the JP John Packer 377 tubas. They aren't particularly "cheap"...perhaps $1000 or so below the lowest prices for which fine-condition used Besson Sovereigns are offered for sale.

There's just no way that I'm going to personally own TWO 3+1 comp. Eb tubas, and the recording bell is handy for the particular with which I regularly use that instrument.

 I'm jealous of the buyer every single time I sell a 377. :|
