I forgot... Is the one on your tuba a little bigger than usual? Seems like the receiver on that PT6P was a better fit for Euro shank mouthpieces than the one on my 606...
No real help, sorry, just curious!

The receiver size has changed over the life of that design... whether that is because they 'improved' it or because that's what was in the parts bin that day is hard to know.
