Looking for a used helicon. Preferably BBb with 4 valves. Pistons over rotors but either is an option. Also not looking for a massive repair project or historical curiosity instrument. I am aware of the current new for-sale models but would prefer something used.
Thanks.

Hi,
Are you still looking for a BBb helicon? I have a Martin Mammoth BBb 3v helicon in lacquer. No case. I purchased it several years ago from Martin Wilk. He made it a detachable bell helicon for ease of transporting. It plays well. I am not playing with any old groups that I need a period instrument for now.
I also have a 1919 Eb 3v Pertin helicon. It needs valve work but does play. I have not used it much. It is silver plate.
You can PM me if you are interested in more info or pictures. Thanks.

Baltimore Brass has a Cerveny Helicon in stock. Clean, BBb, 4v, looks really good, cheaper than new.
