I am looking for a front valve EEb. This will be a do-it-all tuba so It needs to have a larger bell (at least 17"). I am on a budget so it doesn't have to be pretty, but needs to be in good repair and working order. I don't have a huge preference for compensating vs 5-valve. Models I am interested in (I know that chances of finding some of these cheap is slim):

B and S PT-22P (probably my top choice)
MW 2040/5
Eastman 853
Besson 983
Willson 3400

Dont forget the MW 2141 FA piston 5 v 5/4 Eb, it is superb. And the Miraphone 5/4 5 valve rotary EB.

There are 3 EEb tubas, all with 5 valves, 4 pistons, 1 rotor. In my studio,
A York, a Nir bel and a Wilson 3400 (the gold standard),
The 5th valve on each is set to the Roget Bono standard=23.
I would sell you the irs hL for $3000. Shipping extra.
However the tuba lives in FaceBook territory, 94025 zip and you are in Joe Biden territory so a deal seems awkward. What do you think?
