ISO: Silent Brass Tuba Mute Hooks
I have the silent brass tuba 1st Gen. 2 or 3 hooks that connect one half of the barrel to the other are broken. I am wondering if/where I can ask to buy replacements for those. I tried to replace it with one of the hooks that go onto the bell of the instrument but they aren't the same. I tried putting different sized binder clips to see if it would hold but no to no avail. If anybody has any DIYs for this that would be appreciated too! Thank you for your help!

Re: ISO: Silent Brass Tuba Mute Hooks
When mine broke many moons ago, I got a free set (all 3 straps complete) directly from Yamaha. When I sold the Silent Brass, I gave the guy the extra hooks as well (I only needed 1 of them).
I don't know if this website is any good, or if Yamaha will sell them to you, but I did find this:
