Hi All,
I'm retiring from my day gig on June 4th and I will finally have time again to spend on my CC and I want to add an F tuba. I need to play before I buy, and I live in Western Colorado. I would currently drive a day in any direction (which would include the state of Colorado, Utah, Northern New Mexico, Southern Wyoming). After June 4th I will be able to drive farther. I am looking for a used, mid, or lower priced horn. I will use it for quintet and orchestra so I don't want an overly small F. Rotors or pistons are fine but I do want a solid low range (meaning: one I can access when I try it out). I love a resonant sound and good pitch : )
