I have a newer silent brass but it’s very stuffy on my 3/4 (unlike how it plays on my 4/4). Wondering if there is a much smaller version around somewhere that might work. I live in a townhouse so volume is key. I’m in NC for shipping purposes.

Check out a DW practice mute, its to small for a large Bb tuba, but will probably fit fine for your 3/4. The straight DW is the same corpus, can easily be adapted to work as practice mute.
