Who's done it? How'd you do it? Rotor or piston for ease?
The Ulnar nerve in my right wrist is F****d. It's been on and off for about 2 years, but looks like surgery may be my only option at this point, so I'd like to convert a horn to left handed and make the switch permanent.

Re: Left Hand Conversion
There is a fellow in the Twin Cities who has a rotary miraphone that he had converted to left hand because he lost function in his right hand. He said a tech in California did it for him. Basically, he just moved the paddles to the other side (180 degrees) of the rotors. The fellow said miraphone will special make a horn for a left handed play. The up charge was only a few hundred dollars. I posted a picture of this horn a while back (about 2 years ago). You might want to look for it.

Re: Left Hand Conversion
I've reversed a couple of rotary horns. There is a simpler way as a previous posted noted by just moving the paddle assembly. I think someone posted an image some time back.

Alrighty. I picked up a BEAT 186 and will use the Tuba Tinker method!
I'll retitle the thread and add photos as it starts happening.
Thanks everyone!
