Franz Schediwy BBb

https://photos.app.goo.gl/UhxofseZLkNkCuLd9" target="_blank This was and old German horn I picked up from Ukraine. Engraved for anti-aircraft regiment of the Luftwaffe. I thought it was an interesting old horn despite its history. (Not its fault it was procured by sadists/psychopaths in the 30's). I really didn't do much but take everything apart and clean the 84 years worth of schmutz off and out of it. Hit it with a good brass polish and fixed a few dents. I'm hoping it will patina out fairly evenly. It's not perfect by any means but is a good player. Good enough for me. :D

Indeed. The horn doesn't know if you are playing "Royal Air Force March Past," or "Aces High."

Is it possible to see it a long side another more well known model for comparison?

These rare old horns are fascinating!

I added a couple of pictures to the end of the album next to Mirafone 186 for size comparison.https://photos.app.goo.gl/UhxofseZLkNkCuLd9" target="_blank :tuba:

2/ Congratulations! I would love to be able to play it sometime. :D
3/ As far as 1930's/1940's history is concerned, a whole bunch of folks over here thought it was a dandy idea to help out Stalin (no words need be spoken regarding that one's deeds) and Churchill (who's empire was enslaving and terrorizing the Peoples of Africa and India).

Anytime you're in southwest FL look me up. You can play whatever I've got around. :)
